James Cormack, Seaman, Pulteneytown and Margaret Green,
daughter of Walter Green, Pulteneytown were matrimonially contracted on this 25th
day of December and married by the Reverend Andrew Key on the 31st
day of December AD 1851 in the presence of John Green and Donald Bain,
parishioners.
James Green in Pulteneytown had by his wife
Isobel Hay, a daughter baptised and named Elizabeth. Witness, Walter Green.
Walter Green in Pulteneytown was matrimonially contracted to Margaret
Sutherland there. Witnesses, James Green and John Sutherland both there. 7th
January 1815.
William Cormack in Knockdry was matrimonially contracted to Charlotte
Jack in Louisburgh. Witnesses, James Cormack in Wick and John
in
Louisburgh 18th February 1815.
William Cormack in Knockdry had by his wife Charlotte Jack a
son born 11th and baptised 17th April and named James.
The witnesses were James Cormack, Inch and Elizabeth Doull there. 1817.
William Cormack, Farm Servant at Hillhead had by his wife Charlotte
Jack a son born 1st, baptised 29th October 1819 and

Walter Green in Pulteneytown had by his wife Margaret
Sutherland a daughter born February 11th and baptised February
24th named Helen. Witnesses, James Green and Isobel Caglon in
Pulteneytown.

Craig in this parish. 23rd April, 1787.
James Cormack in Clyth in the parish of Latheron was matrimonially
contracted to Margaret Doull in this parish. Cautioners, for the man,

Alexander Jack in Wick was matrimonially contracted to Elizabeth

by William Smellie, physician and Surgeon who saw deceased on 21st
October. Buried in the Churchyard at Wick as certified by James Cormack,

February 1860 (1.30am) at Bank Row, Pulteneytown, Wick aged 75 years. Son of James
Green - Farmer (deceased) and Ellen
Geddes (deceased). Cause of Death: Apoplexy 2 weeks. As certified by John
Smith, Surgeon who saw deceased on 19th February. Buried in the
Churchyard at Wick as certified by Alexander Bain, House Carpenter. Informant:

William Cormack - Farmer, died 15th February 1860 (5.00am) at
Louisburgh, Wick aged 78 years. Daughter of Alexander Jack - Farmer (deceased) and Elizabeth Harrold
(deceased). Cause of Death: Hypertrophy of the heart many months. As
certified by E.J. Sinclair, Physician and Surgeon who saw deceased on 19th
February. Informant: James Cormack, son.
James Cormack, Ship Owner & Captain (married) died
28th October 1869 (10.45am) at Royal Edinburgh Asylum, Edinburgh
aged 46 years. Cause of Death: General paralysis, general failure of
constitution consequent on an intensely internal

September 1886 (3.00pm) at 24 Bank Row Pulteneytown aged 93 years. Daughter of William
Steven - Farmer (deceased) and Elizabeth Craig (deceased). Cause of
